WARNING!!
GENEALOGY POX
Warning: Genealogy Pox is very contagious to adults.
Symptoms: Continual complaint as to the need for names, dates, and
Places.
Patient has blank expression, and is sometimes deaf to spouse and children.
Patient has no taste for work of any kind except fevereshly looking through
records at libraries and courthouses.
Patient has compulsion to write letters, and swears at the mailman when he does not
leave mail.
Patient frequents strange places such as cemetaries, ruins, and remote, desolate
country areas.
Patient makes secret night calls, and hides telephone bills from spouse.
Patient mumbles to himself and has a strange faraway look in his eyes.
Note: There is no known cure.
Treatment: Medication is useless.
Disease is not fatal, but grows progressively worse.
Patient should attend genealogy workshops, subscribe to genealogical magazines,
and be given a quiet corner in the house wher he or she can be alone.
Remarks: The unusual nature of this desease is----the sicker
the patient gets, the more he or she
enjoys it!
