The Reynolds line that I am tracing seems to begin in Rhode Island.
I have been able to prove back to John Reynolds, born in Ohio in 1835. His older sister,
Anna E. Reynolds was born in Rhode Island, according to her death certificate. This
is
where I am running into discrepancies. Her death certificate states that her parents were,
Timothy Reynolds, and Mary [Pakey].
When Mary died, at the home of her son, John Reynolds, her obituary
calls her Mrs. George Reynolds.
I have been unable to prove conclusively, who my John Reynolds parents
were.
Below is a picture of three generations of Reynolds. The young girl is
my mother Ruth Alice Reynolds. The woman in the black dress is her grandmother, Frances
Fawcett Reynolds. The man on the left is my grandfather, Charles A. Reynolds.
