Living in a small town on the shores of Lake
Erie, you might think that there is not much of historical interest. This area is known as
a vacationland, and rightly so. However, within easy
driving, or boating distance from Port Clinton, Ohio are many places of interest to the
historian
and those interested in history.
I have attempted to present a few of these places to give those
interested a sampling of what
