    The Ohio Genealogical Society  The largest state genealogical Society in the country. Site also has searchable databases.

    The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center  The first presidential center in the country. Library contains large collection of genealogical and historical material. Site also contains searchable database of Sandusky County Civil War Soldiers.

    The Ohio Historical Society Located in Columbus, Ohio, it contains  a wealth of genealogical and historical information. Site also has searchable database of Ohio Death Records from 1913 to 1937.

    Ohio GenWeb  Part of the Gen Web project. The site contains links to all Ohio counties that have genweb sites.

    Ottawa County Genealogical Society Web site for the county genealogical society located in Port Clinton, Ohio.

    Sandusky County Kin Hunters  The genealogical society for Sandusky County. Located in Fremont, Ohio.

    Center For Archival Collections   Located on the fifth floor of the Jerome Library, on the campus of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. It is the repository for much genealogical and historical material relating to the 19 counties of northwestern Ohio.

     National Archives and Records Administration The National Archives in Washington D.C. offers a lot of helpful genealogical information.
